Question About Handi-Rifle 30-30 Availability

I'm needing a new hunting rifle for deer season.  I want a new Handi-Rifle 30-30 (open sights, hopefully with an extractor), but my dealer can't find one.  And Sports South shows none in stock.  Will H&R make another delivery soon this year, or should I look for something else?  I need to get something pretty soon.

I think you would love the Handi 30-30 I got one have not made it to shoot it yet but love the looks and feel. You might have to do like I had to do and go to pawn shops until you find one who orders from a different supplier than sports south. Mine has Williams open sites and ejector. According to the sn# mine was made last year I think the newest one have extractor..

I don't have the peep my eyes or not to good and have trouble hitting any thing past about 25 yards so without a scope I put a Tasco 3-9x40 on  just in case I have to shoot a little further out.
