SUB GAUGE ADAPTERS

Has anyone had experience with either the Semiole chambermates or Briley side kicks I am primarly interested in 12 ga to 410.
I had a set of the inexpensive adapters sold by Cabela's and Browning which are simply chamber adapters without any barrel extension
and found them to be unacceptable for skeet do to lost velocity. You had to lead each target much more than normally and I could see right off
that my scores in standard 12 ga. were going to drop. I find the game challenging enough without mentally trying to compensate for excessive lead requirement do to sub gauge adapters

I just bought a set of full length 12-28 briley companion tubes, and even w/ full choke tubes in my 12 they still rattle at the end when I shake the gun.(see my other post, i'm too dumb to link). I have not shot them yet so I can't give you much help, but I have heard good things.
A friend's dad has the el cheapo, knock-out-with-a-stick,20-28 and he shoots skeet w/ them, and really likes them.

They work fine in 20 to 28 but not very well in 12 to 28 or the .410. The wads in the smaller shells will not seal very well in the 12 gauge barrel and blooper loads are common. Plus you end up with a very dirty barrel. As I mentioned in another thread, I've known people to buy them and none kept them very long.
