Hello. I mostly post on the traditional muzzleeloaders forum, but I feel this question would be better placed here. I was asked to get some info and ask you all what you would think about having BEAR COAT (
www.bearcoat.com) put their flat black coating on an 1895 cowboy? Has anyone ever had a firearm with this type of coating before? Also, what would be a good long range (1,000 yd gongs) sight for the cowboy? I was looking at one of Pedersoli's Soule stlye sights. Thanks for the help.
