26 vs 28 inch .410 barrel

How much velocity do you think is gained from the older 28 inch barrels over the newer 26 inch barrels in a .410??

I assume your asking about slugs.  If your talking about shot my guess is that the difference is negligible.

only one  thing i can think of that  those 2 in would help and it aint a 410 shotgun bearrel , if any difference  would have to be very minimal , aint two inches the difference between an oooooooooohhh and a  ahhhhhhhh

The reason I want and will eventually have one is just because I like the feel of a 28"barrel better for hunting. It just swings a teeny tiny bit nicer in my opinion.

yeah yur right the longer barrel does swing better and points  smoother  thats why trap gns have a 34 in barrel   i have a 410 28 and its a smooth  shooter,

I agree. I just picked up a nice used Winchester 37A 410 this morning. The longer barrel and full size stock and forearm feel much better to me.
