hyltoto, your right on the money!
if it was a deer cartrige, like my 30-30 i wouldn't worry about it at all! but if i wanted to shoot crows at 300 or 400 yards with my .204 ruger, it will be a diffrent story. i have never used a torque wrench, but that sounds like a great idea. i just try to tighten the forarm the same each time. and from the shift in point of impact, my method doesn't work! i get as much as an inch in any direction while changing barrels. it seems to be pretty random. i bet if i tried the torque wrench i could at least cut that in half.
even still, it's a great system! and one of my favorite rifles!
