How does H&R ship back?
« on: September 02, 2006, 01:53:23 PM »
I was thinking today, I have been working every day I mean every day even this weekend.  Anyways do they ship with UPS, and if so does someone have to be present to sign for it?  I wrote my home address down for the return shipping addy, usally when we get stuff (computer parts) that you have to sign for we send it to my dads office.

They ship UPS with adult signiture age 21 required  But if you know your UPS driver you shouldn't have a problem

I just went through this this past week.  Like everyone said, they shipped UPS. No one was home so the driver left a notice on the door that indicated they would make three attempts between particular hours (mine was 10:30 - 2:00) before they ship it back to the sender.  I called the 800 number on the notice and after going through the recorded options was placed in contact with a person.  That individual was polite and helpful.  I explained what had occured and that I was willing to pick the package up at the depot, if that was possible.  The employee determined the depot where the package was shipped from and told me he would contact that location and someone would call me within the hour to complete the arrangements.  Approx 30 minutes later I was contacted and given a time that the driver was to return.  All I needed was I.D. to verify who I was and the address.  I went there and waited for approx 20 min (the driver was late), showed my I.D. and walked out with the Handi.

I know this a bit long winded and perhaps a little TMI, but I though you might be able to use the info, given that you said you have been working seven days per week.
