hey i'm thinkin of a couple a short barrels like 6" any issues I should know?

I am thinkin of getting a couple or short barrels like 6" for 41 mag and i don't kn what else.  I just thought the short barrel idea cool.  any thoughts or issues known?  thanks

My 9" .44 mag needed a front sight the size of gut hook point just to get it to be on the paper at 50 yds.
