I was just trying to think of how I could sneak another handgun into the house without a lecture from the ol lady about what we could have bought with $500.00. I think I have the answer. With another glock, as long as she doesn't see them at the same time, she won't know the difference.

Nope, I've played that game.  The other one I have seen is..."You really need this gun for YOU honey, for (hunting) (Home protection)( your new pistol league) "...pick one.  When she loses interest, keep the gun. :)
Better to be straight, and bear the wisdom of the woman who you love.  However, this IS your sport and hobby, and honestly, you should be able to keep active in it...hers might become diamond rings, and that's only fair! :D
