L.C.Smith Hello, I don't have a wasp, but i shot a 219 Zipper, Use 52 gr. HPBT's
by Serria. Useing about 26.5 gr. of IMR 4895 It's a lot fun. I make my brass from 25-35.

LC Smith, Boy this brings back some fond memories of the late 40s & early 50s, Zipper, Wasp, Mashburn bee, 22 K hornet. Spent many hours at the loading table so i could do some p-dog shooting and predator hunting, Sorry i don't have any of the older stuff and don't remember the load data for the wasp, If i told you any thing it would be a guess, Its too far in the past for me to remember. Good luck in finding your loading info..........Joe.........

Joe,

I also shoot the Mashburn Bee.  Killed many pdogs with it this summer in NW South Dakota.  I have a High Wall in .219 Zipper that was my late Uncle's that should be showing up soon.  I love the old single shot varmint guns.

eabco.com chambers the wasp, furnishes formed brass, and I think ammo is in the works. You will have to check. His house cartridges, which have won some number of matches, are based on the Wasp. The Mag on the Zipper IMP. luck

I found that powder 2015 28 grains and bullet 40 grains VMAXBT works well in my barrel. Start low on the powder and work up. My gun is a old bench rest 1950's type double trigger Mauser gun.

I believe my old Hornady loading manual and my newer set of two books both have loading data for the DW. I have considered having a TC barrel build up for my frame in .219DW.
