Very nice set RD.  When I get done with my .30-30 I'll post it here.  It will be more of a working gun so it won't be nearly as pretty as my .45-70.

Thank you...

I'm older, and I like nice things.  Figure I'll only be using them for awhile so why not something personalized to enjoy and use for the time I have left... until I pass it along.

Did the green stock for just doing it.  Not great so considering a GSI LH set with the fat varmit forend.

Have a GSI mannlicher set I'm slowly shaping... probably going on the 45-70 because it shoots the best and makes me feel like I got something serious in my hands.  Remington 700 sight set fits well.

The 30-30 just looks and feels nice with the old stock for now, and without hammer bob and scope even if the sights are fuzzy.  I did add the TC buckhorn though.  May get some new wood someday.

The schnabel forends don't excite me but they came with the guns so I use them.

I do like the BC carbine schnabel forend because it's longer and checkered.  They do look better with the straight wrist.  It stays the way it is.  H&R go this one right.

Be well...

Here is the only one i've got. A .30-.30 with Redfield Revolution 2-7x33mm scope in a DNZ one piece scope base. I will be putting a synthetic monte carlo stock set on her after deer season.
