TC muzzleloaders

Hi all, this is my first post! Don't own any TC's yet, but plan on getting one. Not new to guns, just TC's.

How does the TC Pro Hunter muzzleloader and the regular TC Encore muzzleloader differ in the way they break down for cleaning? Also, what is the price difference between the two (stainless, synthetic is the model I like). Thanks alot!

hey man to save the reading time I am going to keep it short Prohunter ML 28" breech plug is a 90 degree turn and out but you cannot at this time get your breech plug converted to the 25 acp.  now the nonprohunter encore ml 26" screw in breech plug but you can buy a converted breech plug in 25 acp or 22 hornet.. I don't know where you are but around me I can get a stainless for 550 to 650 the prohunter from800 to 950.  I've said it before an encore is an encore is an encore it all depends on what add ons you want and what you are willing to spend

Thanks for the reply. Can you explain the 25 acp and 22 hornet breech plugs? By the way, I am in south Mississippi.

  The 25 and 22 hornet conversion allow you to use a primed 25 acp brass or a cut down 22 hornet primed brass instead of the standard 209 ngintion.  This cuts down on the crud and also helps accuracy as the 209 primer can lift the projectile from the powder charge.  there are several posts on it here.  It would definatly pay to read them.  good luck
