First swaged bullet with swage-0-matic, cool.... Not as expected
« on: September 06, 2006, 06:02:42 PM »
I thought it would require much more precieved pressure, pull up lever is a bit strange but Bam! as Emeral would say,   I took a lead round ball and hammered it into a cylinder and dropped it into the cup and Bam... a tidy little .452 pistol bullet. ... then sadness as I tried to make a longer bullet... no can do in the swage-O-matic.  It seems that this tool has a limited range, as I can see by it's stroke.  but it is fun, And I will play with for a while but it is not going to get me what I want, as soon as I figure out what that is.  Do any of you use this stuff or is it considered primitive now.  JB
