Weatherby MKX Help Please
« on: September 07, 2006, 07:02:03 PM »
have a friend that bought a Weatherby MKX in 7mm-08 at a gun show. When he loads up the magazine and tries to chamber a round , the cartridges on the left side of the double stack start turning side ways almost imediatley and won't chamber of course. Any ideas on who might help clear this up. The local Weatherby rep has a bad reputation so we're scared to take it to him.
Thanks.

I'm sorry but I don't understand. How does the round turn sideways? Does the round pop loose from the magazine? Also I think you are refeering to the MKV rifle??? Correct? But I still don't understand what it is the rifle is doing..
