clays for 40 cal.

I e mailed hogdon for a load using 155g fmj bullets, no answer yet they show 180 or 185g load with clays but no 155g load anyone ever saw a load for
 the 155 fmj with clays
rather hunt with dick chaney then ride with ted kennedy

I had called them a few years back when I bought a can of Clays and had questions about load data on the clays label.  the employee told me that Hodgdon would prefer I use Universal clays for the .40S&W and not clays.  FWIW.  JB

The sierra manual list clays as the most accurate load for the 165 grain and universal clays as the hunting load for the same bullet.I am using both those powders right now for my .40s&w's and if I remember right, clays is listed for several other bullet wieghts in .40..
my huntin rifle is safe from confiscation only while my battle rifle protects it.
