handi rifle/pardner youth combo

i found this site yesterday.   WOW!  this place is great.  i have an old h&r 12ga.   my first gun.  i have always loved these guns.  my son is now @ that wonderful age.  he has completed his orange and white card classes.  i want his first gun to be as enjoyable and safe as mine has been.  i am looking for useable combo for hunting small game, deer, and of course alot of plinking.  now for the over due ?.  i see that the combo listed abovecomes with 243, 22lr, 20ga.  correct me if i am wrong, but 22lr is rimfire.  the other 2 are centerfire.  this sounds like the perfect platform for him to start out on.  i love shooting 22's.  i beleive it would meeet all requirements.  i like that we can up grade to larger calibers and ga's.  i am hooked i will also end up with another gun as well.  lol!  thanks in advance for any help.  thanks,  mike j.

These combos have been discussed on here quite abit in the last few months.  There seems to be one problem.  Unless it has been very recently, H&R has yet to release them.  You can get the BP and Rifle or Rifle and shotgun combos, but the 3 gun combos remain unseen.  Good luck

I spoke with H&R customer service a couple of weeks ago about the three barrel combos. They told me that they had not released them yet, but their plans were mid-September.

thanks for the reply's.  i ask c.s. @ h.r. also.  they said another month on the 3 barrel combo.   i went with the 45/410 survivor!  i hope 2 get him the combo 4 CHRISTmas.  i will let everyone know how he like it.  thanks again,  mike j.
