Fuzzy - Thanks again for the stocks .

Henry 1 - The forarm only weights 14 ozs and is free floated from 1 in. ahead of the lug to the end - the sholder stock on the otherhand gained about 2 lbs when i added the bondo to it for the finger grooves .

I took a standard forarm and cut about 3/4 in off the bottom and then cut a peice of white pine to fit in that space along with the added length that i wanted , then i ran it through the table saw to get the profile that i wanted .

Add a splash of color and their you go .  ;D

In some places you could go to jail for doing that to a rifle.  Larry

Is this a defensive weapon for a bordello?

Here is what a Handi stock should look like.

Very original there Rich. I have to say, for me a different color, and I would be all over that. Bondo huh?  Interesting, I never though of that.
Thanks for sharing the pics, It definately gives me some ideas.

Fred,
I've added your site to my ''Favorites", and Thank You for providing the valuable info!  :) Now if I ever get the time I can use some of it and continue with the many started, but as yet unfinished Handi, Huntsman, Ultra, USH, etc. projects I've lined up for myself... maybe after the home projects, dog care(3), motorcycle modification, baby squirrel nursing, 'Honeydew' stuff, oh yeah and work... :P

Thanks again,
                    Steve

Couldn't you locate any "Day Glow Orange". The paint they paint the tips of some air plains.

But Fred M wouldn't the world be a boring place if all gun stocks looked alike , that is why they make the diffrent colors of lam. stocks . ;)

You are right about that. My comment came about visulizing a skimpy dressed lady with a red colorful rifle under her arm, with a big bust bulging over the stock.

Saying: Buster you better pay up.

(Can you see it. My imagination simply ran away with me)

I sat there laughing like heck. Absolutely no offence.

At $450 plus the wood who would want to buy them for a $200 gun. Besides I am too tired  to work. I quit working for money a long time ago.
