What is the Ruger No.1 rifle in the .22 Hornet worth? It is going up for sale at an estate auction and it is supposedly new in the box.  The auction is way out in the country and I don't think there will be all that many people attending it.

Thanks,

A while back a guy offered to sell one to me, used but in excellent condition, with Bushy scope, for $375.  If I had the money I would have.

22 hornet is one of the rare ones and will go significantly higher anywhere then 450 dollars.

There's nothing rare about them yet. They still build them.

Ultimately--its worth what you are willing to pay for it.

New #1's are pushing $700 around here---I definitely wouldn't pay more than that----and probably more like $550 max---since it's still considered a used gun.
