 Hello all,

   New here, just wanted to thank you all for the wealth of information on this forum. Been lurking (nasty word) for awhile and still much more to do. A lot to read here.

 Just got my BC 45-70 home and couldn't wait to post. Much more than I expected. Out to shoot it early in the morning. Can't wait. Let you know how things go. Thanks again for a great forum.

 Hello jhudson Welcome to the wonderful world of Handi-holics.
 Everybody needs a 45-70, ether the B.C. or just a Handi.
 I am sure that after time you'll have more handis.

 Thanks for the welcome fella's. I think you are right; after this mornings shoot I'm certain there will be more handi's to come.

 The shoot was great, after a couple at 25, I settled in at 100 yards and got a 2inch 4 shot group, and with a little more sight tweaking a 2 1/2 inch 3 shot group at 150 yards. Nothing but impressed. This was with the remington 405's. Am eager to work on some reloads. Need to shoot some more of these so I can have some brass.
