Went to Bass Pro's Outdoor World last weekend and they had some of those T/C Cheap Shot Sabots in a small bag, 20/$1.88. They have 20 Mag Express Sabots and 20 All-Lead Bullets. The ones for .50 calibers are 240 grain, the .45 cal were 180 grain. Just thought I would pass it on, the ones in the Bass Pro Catalog are $5.99 for the same thing. I don't know if this was the regular price or a sale, but it wasn't in the current sale bill.
I only bought 10 packs, 200 bullets & sabots for $18.80, not bad. On the way home it hit me, Doh, you can't even buy the Sabots alone for that. Wish I lived closer, I'd go pick up a case if they would let me. I just bought them for plinking and getting rifles on paper, but they would even make a decent bullet for light skinned game like whitetails.
