Performance Center Model 460 Revolver
If you purchased a Performance Center Model 460 revolver, we are asking that you stop using the firearm. We have received a few isolated reports of barrel failures. We are investigating, and beginning next week plan to send notices to all affected customers asking that the firearms be returned to Smith & Wesson for testing and replacement of the barrels as necessary. Until then, please do not use your firearm. This notice applies only to the Performance Center Model 460 and does NOT include the Smith & Wesson standard production Model 460.
