Thanks for the welcome.  I usually frequent a couple of the other forum and spotted this one.  I will be back.  Someone threw out the idea of an Ohio shoot.  Could this happen?

There aren't any gun shops in Akron.  Cuyahoga Falls maybe. .  .

I'm checking in from Summit County.

I grew up in a little village called Empire, right on the Ohio River, 12 miles north of Steubenville. Hunted all those hills and hollows growing up, Brush Creek too, before it became a state wildlife area. Left home and joined the Marines in '85, never went back to live. Now residing in TN.

Benaiah-

Nice to hear from an old Steubenville guy!  Yep Fred is still there...probably till he dies! I have logged many miles up and down these hills, took some good deer and missed many more...

Rocky River, just outside Cleveland. Not much hunting land here. Gotta drive a bit for that. But the fall steelhead fishing is great!

I'll sign-in...Columbus here.  I've been a member for some time, but I lost and couldn't relocate this forum.  In fact, I stumpled across it again doing a search from another gun related site.  I bookmarked it (again) so hopefully no more computer crashes or memory losses.  It's tough having CRS.

Nope, you have to be real close then. I am down near the GM plant. I have no idea why I didn't see your reply before now.
