Whitetails Unlimited NEF Tracker I - pics added
« on: September 19, 2006, 03:08:37 PM »
I stopped at a local shop today to pick up a license, and I wandered past the used rack...like I always do.  I found a used NEF 12 gauge Tracker I smoothbore.  It has a cinnamon laminated stock with the Whitetails Unlimited emblem pressed into it, and it was marked $99...

I'm trying to resist...must not buy...

On the other hand...what kind of accuracy do you guys get with the smoothbore Tracker I barrels compared to the rifled Tracker II barrels?

Thats a great deal! I would snag it up in a heart beat. The Tracker 1 barrels shoot very well, At least my old one did -now Stimplyu32..Richards now.
Not to mention the Laminated stocks are very desirable, and are very "resaleable"..

If that shop is close to Delaware or they will ship it I'll buy it if you don't.

I have one in 20 ga.  At 40 to 50 yards off hand, I can generally keep 4 of 5 on a 7" paper plate with Remmington Sluggers.  A nice carry gun for still hunting and slow deer drives here in shotgun only Iowa.  I have never benched it.

Well I couldn't stand it any longer...I went back today and it was still on the shelf...so I just had to have it.  Now it's locked up in my safe with a bunch of it's NEF relatives.

Thanks
