I wish these articles had been available in June or July before most hunters had made their way to Alaska or into the bush.

Maybe better late than never:
The current issue of Alaska Wildlife News has some helpful articles for hunters planning to fly to or within Alaska.  I have found the restrictions on stoves, fuel, ammo, etc to be a royal pain and hghly dependent on the attitude of the TSA officer.   What's more, some of them get more difficult if you try to argue with them.  These articles should help hunters plan and to avoid real problems. You might want to check these links out.

I've also included a link to an article that might help folks understand the local vs nonlocal or outside hunter. Take a look and maybe it will help folks avoid trouble.
