Perhaps you saw some of the news coverage of the meetings being held at the U.N.  I was truly bothered by Venezuela's Hugo Chavez.  I realize the U.N. is not considered U.S. soil, but the ingrate went on to the Bronx and bad-mouthed our President once more.  It seems to me that that is just wrong.  And as if to add insult to injury that devil is making money off of us my selling gas through the CITGO brand.  Only in America can a foreign dictator come into our country, speak his mind, while all the time taking advantage of our capitalism.

Now I'm not naive enough to think everyone here likes President Bush, but even the Democrats took exception to this!

The Socialist Democraps did not take exception immediately, only after testing the wind & then making comments for their own advantage. That's why most reacted a day later. Most of them would hug Chavez's neck as that Hollywood Democrap, Danny Glover
did in Harlem, but they know they can't.

The UN is not the most important thing in the Bronx. The most important thing is the big ball park at 151st and River Avenue. (2nd would be Fordham U.)!

You might have noticed that old "Dungheap Harken" ( Dem. Iowa senator) was very sympathetic toward Chavez.  If the truth were told, most, if not all of the Dems have said much worse things about our President and some, such as Jimmy Carter and B. J. Clinton, have even ventured overseas to trash our country and its leadership.

I for one, have no problem with allowing these dolts to display their ignorance and their disgraceful behavior.  They are preaching to their own choir and persuading no one who isn't already certifiable.

All good points Nomosendero and Magooch.  It just got under my skin  that a foreign leader could come into our country and do that.  I guess I've gotten used to the Dems and Libs bashing President Bush.  Like I said, "a sign of the times."

Chavez's deal was close to Castro's of 40 plus years ago. Don't think he barbecued chickens in the fireplace at the waldorf ala 1960's Castro tho.... Chavez is bland in comparison! Now if we could just bring  Khrushchev back, to bang his shoe on the table.. that would be just great theater!
