pistol grip

When I shoot my contender in handgun mode, and I use a cartridge that has a recoil I find it hard to hold.  I am left handed and small handed.  I took a left hand grip and worked it down to fit my hand; however, I still find it uncomfortable.

Is there a grip that help steady one's  hand

gunstocks inc sells what Fajan use to call the push pull pistol grip. it looks like a great big thumb whole pistol grip, but the idea is to use your non shooting hand and hold the back part of the grip. they cost alot more now then they did when i had mine about 10 years ago.
i just picked up a older set of the Herett style grips made of walnut with the finger grooves and place to support your thumb, off eBay. and theres some for sale there all the time. my hands a little bigger i guess so i am going to sand a little between the grooves for more room and even better fit.

You can also check out the grips that GA Jim makes. He has one for smaller handed shooter and they are very comfortable to hold. They really make the higher recoil calibers manageable.
