I forget, which 209 plug do you use with 777 pellets in the Thompson Encore/Omega? The one with the slight concave, or the one with the deep cavity?
Thanks, poncaguy

The latest plug has been in production-use for about three years - so Thompson feels it works best with pellets and loose powder.  That one has a noticeable concave design. The slight concave plug was around for one year. The flat-face plug was in production guns for about one year also.

I think I got all that correct. I never owned the 2nd one (slight concave). Never personally got to check it out with my own hazel eyes. :o

Well... I'm a freaky-looking bear with hazel eyes... what can I say? :D

You can use any one, but the one with the flat face or slight concave is the one's they said works best with pellets. The one with the deep cavity is best for loose powder. I have all three and I never noticed a difference in ignition or accuracy change.

So I stated the two concave ones backwards in my post. The slight concave is current & the deep concave was the one discontinued - along with the flat-face.
