CVA Kodiak or Traditions Pursuit LT- Which is best choice?
« on: September 26, 2006, 10:43:55 AM »
I am considering buying one of these. I know there are better options, but I don't want to spend major bucks on a gun I may use twice a year. Both of these fit the price range I am willing to spend. So, which of these would be the better choice? The best deal of the two is the Traditions which comes scoped for under $200.00. I owned an NEF Huntsman once that was accurate, but I hated the telescoping ramrod and the tool to remove the breech plug, so I traded it off.

If you plan on magnum powder charges up-to 130 gr, get the Kodiak. Otherwsie, it doesn't matter.

Investing a few more dollars gets you the Winchester Apex or "steel frame" Traditions Pursuit Pro. The LT has an alloy frame.
Keep that ML smokin'
