hello, a quick update to hopefully help 250 shooter's..one..mack helped me out on my resizing situation which combined with my pop-open-reloading thread i started about two week's ago...here's the dope...9/17/06 using my tailgate as a bench..all loads using varget & hornady 55-grain s.p. part #2265 & winchester primers...all groups three shot's...load's & groups as follow's...33.6=1 3/4..34.1=2 1/2..34.5=1 1/2...9/25/06..using my home-made benchrest..note..i usually shoot off a real bench rest "BUT" the shooting range's are packed this time of year..i had to shoot @ 50 yards..i set the scope @4x 34.6=1 3/16..35.1=1 3/16..another group..35.1=1/2..soooo..i have worked lot's lately & talked my boss into the morning off..went back out & the 100 range was available..i knew my p.o.i was low as i had been shooting for groups..two quick shot's to adjust scope...cool off about 10-12 minute's & because i had the time i waited 1-2 minutes between shot's.. shot a 1 5/8" 5-shot group...sorry for the long story...of course those groups won't get me in the olympic's "BUT" for a $22O hunting rifle i'm pleased..SORRY if i hi-jacked the thread...
