Yet another Shelby Countian...and yes, another Bagdad-ian.  I was born in L'ville in the last century and stolen away to Tennessee by gypsies when I was 3 (well, maybe they wusn't gypsies...but makes a better story ;D).  Made it back to Green County in '95 and then moved to Bagdad when my work changed.  Love it!

I get made fun of for saying what county I am from and not a city or town, But to a lot of kentuckians this is an everyday thing, Because we are not from a city or town, But from the county. Lots of them places don't have names or aren't on a map, So it wouldn't matter iffn we told ya, ya prolly couldn't find it. ;D

You're wrong. I live in Elsmere, Kenton county. Do most of my huntin in Boone, Grant, Gallitin, Owen, & Pendleton counties. Bin in lottery for Elk permit since it began. It burns my butt when I see an out of state hunter gets drawn & I dont. :o
   Enuff of the sour grapes, I'm not gonna quit applying. ;)

Since I'm new to the forum I thought this would be a good place to start introducing myself.
I am currently located in Lexington for school, but I claim Nelson Co. as home. Only about a stones throw from the Bullitt Co. line.

I'm from Warren county also, actually live in Plano, but do most of my hunting in Edmundson because of a nice farmer that lets me harvest deer and turkeys on his land.  I do all my target shooting at the Green River Gun Club, the first thing I joined when I got to BG just over 5 years ago.

I lived near the little town of Martin when I was just a boy. My dad's family was from Prestonsburg and my mom's family from Garrrett. My sister still lives in Martin.

many here are not even from the USA


most  counties  are in other states...there are 2 states with my county name

Near Martin in Arkansas creek..I grew up in East Point not far from Prestonsburg..Went to grade school at Auxier then high school in Prestonsburg.. ;)
