about 30 miles from lex in mount sterling .if you make it yo ky  brfore the third weekend in oct  come down for court days a trhee day flea market deal with thousands and thousands of guns and everything in the world even coon dogs........

I'm in Bagdad, Shelby County.  I'm looking forward to the muzzleloading season weekend after next.  I'd really like to go to Court Days in Mount Sterling, too.  I've not been but I hear tell they've got a lot of guns for sale/trade.  I'm really wanting a Model 70 Featherweight but I'm a poor fellow (kids in college) so I have to trade a lot rather than to throw out the cash and maybe I can do that over there when the time comes.  Maybe I can hunt one day and go to Court Days the next, I don't know.  I guess it depends if I collect a little backstrap on opening Saturday or not to determine whether I go to Mount Sterling or back in the woods.

  My mom lives in Pleasureville. I went for a walk behind her house a few days ago and jumped a big doe. These whitetails are sure pretty and a lot bigger than the blacktails i am used to seeing.  It looks like a good area to find a nice wall hanger to me.  Best of luck to you.

Guess I'm the only Northern KY hillbilly on here?  Just south of Cincinnati, Campbell County.  I've been to court days in Mt. Sterling a couple of times.....man oh man, there are guns everywhere.  I was in love several dozen times last time I went there.  I came back broke.  Very broke.   :D

Hey, i hear all you guys talking about court days, have any of you gone to poultry swap in lucasville ohio ? there are more guns there everyyear, the last 2 years it seems there have been more guns than poultry...and they have it 3 times a year .....if any of you are interested in HUGE animal and gun sales you really need to go.....its at the lucasville fair grounds and is at least 8 acres...
if any of you are interested let me know and i will post the dates, i do know that the first one this year is on the opening day of turkey season  >:( i have never missed the opening of turkey season in 19 years but the trade days are so good i will miss it this year) well, i will give up 1 day for the show....

Yes please post the dates. I usually go twice a year, but last year I was recovering from by-pass surgery in the spring and the weather didn't comply the other times.
