A couple days ago I picked up a versa-pack....syn ..22LR/.410 with plans to make a truck gun rig w/both barrrels.
I cleaned the .22 and scrubbed the bore with Happich simichrome..cleaned again..and did a bit of preliminary shooting with the factory irons..in spite of my 70 yr old eyes.
Right off the new rifle seemed to have better inherent accuracy than the Sportster .22LR I already have !
Curiosity piqued..I got both out for a comparison...
What is the difference ? ...the new rifle has micro-groove; don't know if that explains the entire difference, but there sure seems to be one !
