I have a pair of the rounded toe Durangos and they only have the expansion in the back on those and they are comfortable to wear all day. I got mine from the Fort and they were about $129. Worth it compared to what else is out there.

In my case they ran true to the size I always wear. I am not sure if you get more toe room in the square toed model or not, but they could be returned, in fact they included a return shipping label with them. I guess you call for return authorization and then use the label. The boots have a label in them that says they are made in China. I did not know that from the ad, but then I knew they were not made in USA at that price. My first pair of tall boots were Olathe and they cost me about $250 if I remember right. I could not wait to get them off at the end of the day. So, go figure. I did get 5 years out of them, before the soles wore out. The heels held up. aybe the soles were too thin for walking on gravel and rocks a lot.
