pet loads for .32 Special?

Just picked up a Model '94, Can anyone recommend best powders?  Expect will be plinking mostly gas-checks and a bit of jacketed.  Thanks a lot,

     hi.   my couz  has an old 32spl the best load wev  found for it is IMR30-31 an hornaday 170gr bullet. i had a coustom crimp die made by lee made for it and wev had many 3shot groups that all shots cut eacher. check laymans hand book for how manygrans .best of luck .

We load our 32 Special with-170Gr bullet-Winchester 748 Powder-32.6Gr Starting load-"36.2 MAX load"-2,240 FPS-32,500 Pressure.

Ed, On 4 Dec 1994 this load made one 5/8 hole, center to center, at 100 yards with 4 shots.  I chickend out and didnt fire the 5th shot. 

Once fired Winchester brass, 170g Hornady (crimped, OAL approx 2.56), CCI 200, 34g IMR 4320, Average speed of the 4 shots was 2089fps

The gun was a Win 94 rifle, 1/2 mag, takedown, with Lyman reciever sight, shotgun but, serial # 685505.  Wish I had never sold it!

.......33 grains of IMR 3031 and the 170 hornady interlock crimped with the .30-.30 Lee Factory Crimp Die yeilds me very good accuracy
