I need a little help.

I am the happy owner of a new to me 12 T/C MUZZ. I have no idea what to load. My plans are to shot #6 most of the time. How much powder then what, How much shot then what? Don't know anything except I wanted it.

In my SxS 12 ga. I use the following load for dove and quail. 82gr ffg goex, over powder card, 1/2" lubed, cushion wad, 1 1/4 oz shot and over powder card. For me, this is a max load but it patterns well in my gun. Rule of thumb is equal parts powder and shot to get started. I do not exceed 1 1/4 oz shot. All shotguns being different in choke and barrel length, some experimentation with your gun will be necessary. Hope this helps you get started. I'm going on a big dove shoot with mine Oct. 8th and can't wait.

 i would agree with wynn as his load is pretty darn close to what i shooting all my 12 gage .
