Trail Cam bungee cord substitute?
« on: October 01, 2006, 03:22:58 AM »
I was given a Moultrie digital and it works pretty good.  However, those bungee cords are a pain.  Since no 2 trees are the same diameter, I either have to wrap them around more than once or stretch them around a bigger tree.  Either way puts too much stretch on the bungee cords and if one snaps it could be dangerous.  Has anyone found a better way to do it?

Star1pup,
I went to the local hardware store and purchase two pieces of chain and 4 small locks. So I chain and lock my camera to a tree, so it cannot roam through the woods by itself, if you get my drift. I still use bungee cord's for level adjustments. Cost for chain and small locks about 10 dollars. Pictures priceless!
