I have a 41GNR chambered S&W mod. 657 and the scope keeps slidding back . I have Weaver rings on it and don't like them , who makes a set that will hold up to the recoil and clamp down to hold the scope in place .
Any ideas or input , Please

If you have actual Weaver brand rings they are in my mind pretty near useless, I toss all of them I get on guns I buy or trade for used.
The elcheapo Tasco rings that come with the fabric stuff inside have never slipped on anything I've used them on and as long as you leave them be once on they work well but are not to be taken off and put on many times.
The Burris Signature Zee Rings are a direct replacement for the Weaver rings and have always held fine for me no matter the recoil of the gun. BUT it's always best to try to place the turret against the ring so that physical movement is not possible. That's the ONLY true stop for it.
For most any other kinda ring except the Burris Signature lapping will usually stop scope movement.

Warne rings work great, I have them on a 460 and 500 Mag.
