Will a Remington Syn stock for a 7600 fit a 760??

I have a 760 30-06 that I would like to put the Remington syn stock on but notice that some list the 760 and 7600 as different and some not. Does anyone know what if any the difference is?

I called Remington this morning and was informed that the butt stock interchanges but the forend does not. Maybe i will still get a factory stock as the R3 pad really fits well, I have one on my 870 supermag.
