.44-90 sbn
« on: October 02, 2006, 12:50:25 PM »
Well time is passing waiting for my new Shiloh .44 2-5/8 SBN.
I been gathering the equipment, tooling, for loading this cartridge.
Do any of you shoot this round? and if so I would like your comments about this round.
Years past I had a .44/90 BN Remington that cartridge is similar to the .44 SBN but that was more then 40 years ago.
How time flies by.

Kurt,

I don't anyone with a 44-90.  Boge uses a 44-77 and has been having some luck with it.  You can find him under "Boge" on the Shiloh site.

I put a feeler out there before, I don't think to many shoot bottle neck rounds in this black powder game, oy there afraid to say they do. :-X

:) You better start saving your loose change if you ever do decide to get the .44/90 sbn.
The dies, cases and the rest that goes with loading for one costs about as much as the rifle does.
