« on: October 03, 2006, 05:23:56 AM »
Does anyone have any data for the 7mm-08 using 140 grain Barnes TSX (Triple Shock) bullets and Ramshot Big Game powder?

Check their website.  Lots of info there for you and you can download their reloading info.

Not from a manual, but:

Big Game From 37.9 grains to 45.3 grains
 Remington 9-1/2 Primer

Barnes recommends that you use the data for the original "X" bullets for the TSX. At least until they produce tested data for the TSX. I just figure I will wait for the tested data before I try the bullets. I have heard of people exceeding the recommended loads and even exceeding the loads for the other high performance bullets that Barnes warns will cause dangerous pressures. I suppose if there is no published data for a bullet then you can load it until it blows the gun up.

Hodgdon, Lyman, Speer, Sierra, Hornady = reliable resources
so and so's pages on the internet = not reliable resources
Alway check loads you find on the internet against manuals.
NEVER exceed maximum listed loads.
